Overview
This workshop is for adults who are enduring the effects of traumas, recent or old, psychic or physical or emotional. Whether you have regular pain, chronic low-energy or any other unhealthy fallout from past severe experiences, this workshop can help. By cultivating a loving stillness, we learn to listen to our body, and find the places where we hold the pain and loss of trauma.
This workshop will help you understand yourself more clearly, and give you simple techniques you can use in your daily life, to grow your own healing and let go of that which no longer serves you well.
Blending yoga, guided meditation, and chanting, we will move through a number of the touchpoints of our everyday lives and take time to slow down and listen to our own bodies. From this quiet, we will learn more about how and where old traumas still effect us and where we hold pain. Self-care strategies will allow us to nourish the small healings that day after day grow into a life lived well. Trauma may never stop causing us pain, but we can grow to make it stop hurting us.
